End user goes to a site and chooses to access content that is SponsorSelect enabled.
The end user is presented SponsorSelect and has two choices: take the Title Sponsor or select a Featured Sponsor. If the end user clicks “Skip This Step” the Title Sponsor will be their sponsor. In this example the Title sponsor is Ebay, however the user in this example is selecting Amazon as their Featured Sponsor.
When a Featured Sponsor or Title Sponsor is selected, we will run a 300 x 250 for 15 seconds and then the user will be directed back to the content. If the user would have taken the Title Sponsor, you would see the Ebay’s 300 x 250 here.
Note: Presenting Sponsor Select does not increase user drop off that is any greater than presenting a pre roll or other interstitial like advertising.
The end user will be directed back to the content when the sponsors 15 second message is done playing and the Sponsors website will be opened behind this content.
When the end user closes their browser, they will see the Featured sponsor’s website. If the user would have taken the Title Sponsor, Ebay’s website would have opened instead of Amazon.com.
